Memory, a mother of five, has been leaving her home at 3 am everyday in the last four days.

She lives in Chinsapo, a township just outside Lilongwe’s CBD. She walked for over two hours to reach Lilongwe Admarc depot along Paul Kagame Highway, in search of the staple maize.
